Who We Are
About The Mississippi District
Formed in 1949 after the merger that created the United Pentecostal Church International, the Mississippi District has been led by only eight District Superintendents. In 1964, under J. E. Anderson’s leadership, the District purchased the former Arlington High School property near Philadelphia, establishing its first campgrounds. In 1972, the campgrounds and headquarters were relocated to Raymond, where the District now maintains 85 acres of land with offices and modern facilities. The highlight of the year is the Annual Camp Meeting each July, drawing thousands to worship, fellowship, and hear powerful preaching. The Mississippi District remains steadfast in its message of One God and holiness and warmly invites visitors to experience the love and presence of Jesus Christ at its Raymond campus.
