Pastor Donald McGaughy drew the blueprints for a church, and after clearing the land, Pastor McGaughy began to see progress. The congregation was abundantly blessed to erect a 10,000 sq. ft. building with a seating capacity of 350- 400. Construction started on the new building, and in September 2004, they moved in debt-free.
In 2006, Brother McGaughy’s health began to fail, and his son Jonathan McGaughy stepped up and began assisting his dad. He was the youth pastor and Assistant Pastor.
Life Tabernacle has only had only two pastors, father, and son. The establisher Donald McGaughy passed the mantle to son Jonathan McGaughy. On January 8, 2008, Jonathan McGaughy became pastor. He and his wife Jennifer continue to bless the assembly with their spiritual leaders.
Elder Donald McGaughy finished his course on March 15, 2013. He was a man who sought the will of God and experienced a fruitful ministry. Pastor Jonathan continues to lead the church, and the church continues to expect remarkable growth.
