In 1975-2006, Brother J.E. Burgess was pastor. He built a new church building on the Hwy 16 property in 1979 and began Carthage Christian Academy in January of 1980.

In 2006, Brother Joe Burgess became pastor. He is now in the process of building a new sanctuary on the Hwy 16 property. God has incredibly blessed, and the congregation is looking for more incredible things shortly.
