Received the Holy Ghost in 1946

Married Eloise Adcock- October 6, 1946 been married 70 years

Received the call to preach and began preaching the summer of 1947 in Macedonia, MS

Soon after began evangelizing

Moved to Pritchard, Alabama and was Assistant Pastor under Rev. Oscar Vouga for 6 years

During that time He served as Secretary Treasurer of youth department for 2 years and also as Director of youth for southern part of Alabama for 2 years.

Elected as Pastor of church in Philadelphia, MS in 1960 where he served for 12 years

Moved to Brandon, MS in 1972 and started church there in store front.

Moved into new building on 468 in January of 1973

Tornado destroyed that building in 1993.

Built current building in 1994

After coming to Brandon served as:

Sunday School Superintendent of Section 6 for 4 years

Sunday School Superintendent of MS for 3 terms

Presbyter of Section 6 for 14 years

Home Missions of section 6

Licensed with United Pentecostal Church for 60 years
